Over 100 members and non-members have taken the Association's first online eLearning course, "Introduction to Shareholder Services." The American Bankers Association Institute of Certified Bankers has approved this course for continuing education units. Successful completion of the course is worth 2.5 credits for the CCTS or CSOP designation. ICB members should submit their credits electronically at ICB Member Services. The SSA is pleased to announce the release of our latest eLearning module, “Unclaimed Property.” The Association has developed this module with the assistance of some of the industry’s premier service providers in this field. Non-members may still take these courses for a fee.       SSA 2008 ANNUAL CONFERENCE JULY 22 - 25, 2008 The SSA’s 2008 Annual Conference will be at Colonial Williamsburg, in the Williamsburg Lodge. Save the dates and start making your plans now to attend one of the security industries best conferences. In the Annual Conference section is a Conference Information tab which provides general information about the conference location, travel options, activities, etc., including hotel reservation information. Conference registration material and an agenda are also provided. We hope you will be able to attend and network with the other SSA members participating in this event. The Institute of Certified Bankers, a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association, has reviewed the continuing education provider application submitted for our 2008 Conference. Attendance would be worth: 13.75 Certified Securities Operations Professional (CSOP) credits, and 13.75 Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (CCTS) credits.
