Q&A Process

 Submitting a Question:

1.  Click on "Ask a Question" in the right hand "bubble" on the webpage.

2.  Type a concise question and click on "Ask!"

3.  The question will be sent to the SSA Moderator for review (the SSA will generally not edit text but will monitor the questions to reduce duplications, etc.).

4.  After the Moderator approves the question, it is posted to the SSA site. The question is then emailed to all SSA members who have not opted out of the process. The email also provides a link for members wishing to submit a response. 

5.  When an answer is submitted, the author of the question receives an email alert that an answer was posted. The SSA Moderator also receives notification.

Answering a Question:

1.  Click on "Post your answer".

2.  Type your answer and click on "Answer!"

3.  Your answer is immediately posted but you can click on "Edit" at any time to revise it.

In the right-hand "bubble" on the Q&A webpage, you will be able to view a history of the questions you asked and responses received.

Searching: You can search the Q&A page by using the search box in the right bubble.
