Vice President, Sales Executive Eastern Region
Wells Fargo Shareowner Services
My role at Wells Fargo
Since 1929, Wells Fargo Shareowner Services has been the stock transfer unit of Wells Fargo; we are the only bank transfer agent left in the nation. At Wells Fargo Shareowner Services I market a number of products and services to private and publicly traded companies on the east coast. These products and services include the following: stock transfer, corporate action, dividend disbursing, investment plans – DRIP and DSPP, employee stock purchase plan services, restricted stock and stock option services, proxy and annual meeting services and assist companies with raising capital. I also work with our commercial and investment bankers to assist them with growing their client relationships.
My Involvement with SSA
I joined the SSA several years ago and looking back at the decision -- it was a great decision.
The SSA serves a very important role in continuing education on Transfer Agency and Securities industry matters while providing great networking opportunities for its membership. For us at Wells Fargo, the SSA is where many of our colleagues in our operations, administration, management, marketing, and new business development strengthen their knowledge of the business and collaborate with other individuals in the industry and regulators on issues.
A little bit about me
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY, attended Pomfret High School in CT and Boston University. I worked for Prudential Insurance Company in Boston in the medical claims department, then Boston Medical Center as Head of Clinical Logistical services for Boston City Hospital. After that I joined the management development program at Bank of Boston and spent a number of years in stock transfer operations, management, and sales. I also worked for Shawmut Bank in Boston as head of corporate trust and stock transfer operations. Later I moved to the northern Virginia area with Bank of Boston Shareholder Services which then morphed into EquiServe and then Computershare Ltd. In 2006, I joined Wells Fargo Shareowner Services in New Business Development covering the east coast market.
