Shareowner Services Administrator
Alliant Energy Corp.
My Role in Shareowner Services
As with many companies, I am the single designated representative in our Shareowner Services area and report directly to our Corporate Secretary. I work with our retail shareowners and serve as the primary liaison with our transfer agent. I am also involved in the preparation and execution of our annual meeting of shareowners. Prior to my position in Shareowner Services I worked in Regulatory Compliance with the company.
Why I Joined SSA
When I started in Shareowner Services in 2008 my manager, Joni Aeschbach, was on the Board of SSA, so I had an immediate “in” as to the benefits of the SSA. I have never regretted becoming a member. It has been a great resource.
What I like best about the SSA
Being relatively new to Shareowner Services the SSA has provided me with unlimited educational resources and networking. It provides a single location to get any questions answered. The annual conference is one of the best particularly regarding speakers and information provided.
I have worked at Alliant Energy since 2002. Prior to Alliant Energy, I worked at a real estate office, University of Wisconsin, and a telephone cooperative. I have been married for 34 years (and hopefully still counting). We have 5 children and just had our 8th grandchild. Besides our children, I would say my greatest source of satisfaction was being foster parents. We still remain in contact with most of the families. Foster care gave us the gift of our two youngest children who we adopted when they were 4 and 8 years old. We believe in the saying that it takes a community to raise a child. In my spare time I enjoy attending sporting events and golfing.
