My Role at AST
As Senior Vice President of Issuer Services at AST, I oversee the dividend, tax, dividend reinvestment and unclaimed property operations that support our issuer clients. I joined AST in 2010 and have been fortunate to be a part of the company’s significant growth and emergence into the player it has become in the industry. In addition to leading the operation that supports AST’s issuer clients, I also actively participate in various industry associations and committees, as well as the AST sponsored Executive Advisory Council, which brings together industry leaders from various organizations with the goal of educating and improving many facets of the shareholder services industry.
Why I am a member of the SSA
Very simply put – the people. I have always said that the SSA provides the most valuable networking and
education within the industry. The webinar and presentation topics are always pertinent and top of mind for
issuers and providers alike. I have been actively involved in the SSA for many years and always appreciate the
openness of the association when it comes to discussions amongst its members. Along with its many professional
advantages, the SSA has also fostered long lasting friendships among its members which is something you typically
don’t see through an industry group.
A little about me
Originally from New Jersey, I have recently moved to Long Island. I graduated from East Carolina University and
have spent my entire career in Financial Services. My journey in shareholder services started over 27 years ago at
Mellon Investor Services and continued through the merger with The Bank of New York. I have managed just
about every area of the operation in my career, with a focus on the unclaimed property sector in recent years. I
have been fortunate to work alongside some of the best industry leaders and mentors throughout my career.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family, playing golf and rooting for the New York sports teams (Giants,
Rangers, and Yankees).
