Kim Hanlon, Operations Manager - Shareholder Services, The Procter & Gamble Co. - Cincinnati, OH
My role at Procter & Gamble:
I joined The Procter & Gamble Company 26 years ago working part-time in External Relations as a Consumer Relations specialist covering several brands, before joining P&G’s shareholder services team three years later. I held several positions in shareholder services before being promoted to Operations Manager in 2009. In 2013 I managed the transition to a service provider. My responsibilities now include governance of the transfer agent relationship, satisfaction surveys and various G/L account reconciliations. Additionally, my Shareholder Services responsibilities include leading various corporate-action projects, proxy and annual meeting of shareholders.
In addition to my role at Procter & Gamble I have served on the SSA Board of Directors for 4 years, where I am now Vice President. I am also on the EQ Shareowner Services Client Advisory Board.
Why I am a member of the SSA:
Being a member of the SSA has been invaluable to me on both a business and personal level. The knowledge that lies within this organization is abundant and they truly strive in communication and networking to provide their members with resources for ongoing learning. In such a specialized industry with an ever-changing landscape I know I can always turn to the SSA members when I have questions regarding best practices, benchmarking, regulatory changes etc. I have made so many great connections over the years and they all feel like family.
A little bit about me:
I live in Northern Kentucky with my husband of 37 years. We have three beautiful daughters and six precious grandchildren (13 yrs.-18months). I am fortunate enough to have them all within 20 minutes of me (the grandchildren that is!). In our spare time we enjoy short weekend getaways and exploring the beauty of our national parks.
